Finwell Group was established in 2015 with the vision to create a financial services company that provides clients with a holistic approach to their financial wellbeing.
The concept was shaped when financial advisors, Leon Bergh and Michael Jonker, found that planning an individual’s financial roadmap required advice from industry professionals specifically in the legal and accounting industry.
The Finwell Group acquired an established short-term insurance brokerage, with a proven 30-year track record. The investment extended the Finwell business footprint and allowed access to insurance specialists resulting in a superior short-term insurance offering.
Suitable partners with the necessary qualifications, experience and passion for their industries was required to extend the Finwell offering with accounting, tax, legal, wills & estates services. Rohan Bosman was identified and Finwell Accounting was formed with Rohan seeing to clients’ accounting and tax matters. Finwell Legal was formed after partnering with attorney, Ernest Van Staden and his dynamic team.
Charles Marais, soon joined Finwell Group as a shareholder and Executive Director, overseeing the Group with fellow Directors Leon Bergh and Michael Jonker.
